Terms of use

Clear expectations for learning together.

These terms describe who may use Study with Tino, how accounts and subscriptions work, and the responsible use expected from learners, families and staff.

Version 2026-07-11
Pre-launch legal review required

This operational draft explains the implemented system. A Zimbabwe-qualified lawyer should review and approve it before public launch; publish the reviewed document hash in backend secrets.

01

Account eligibility and identity

You must provide accurate information and use one email address, phone number and verified identity per account. A person creating a learner account confirms that they are authorised to do so. Keep credentials private and report suspected compromise promptly.

02

Learning service and AI limitations

Study with Tino provides educational guidance, practice and source citations. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong and are not a substitute for a qualified teacher, official syllabus, examination rules or professional advice. Learners should verify important answers against approved material.

03

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harm another person, bypass access controls, upload malware, impersonate someone, infringe copyright, scrape the platform, overload services or ask Tino to facilitate unlawful conduct. Tino should support learning rather than dishonest submission of work.

04

Books and uploaded content

Only authorised staff may upload material, and they must own it or have permission to process and distribute it. Uploaded resources may be extracted, chunked and used to create citations, flashcards and quizzes. Draft content is not released to learners until approved.

05

Subscriptions and payment

Paid learning access begins only after Paynow or an authorised administrator verifies entitlement. Plan limits, prices and billing periods are shown before payment. Expired, unpaid, refunded or suspended access may be restricted while login, billing and privacy controls remain available.

06

Suspension and termination

TjTech may suspend access to protect learners, investigate abuse, comply with law, address payment problems or secure the platform. Account holders may schedule deletion, subject to the stated cancellation period and lawful retention of limited records.

07

Availability and responsibility

We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular examination result. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct loss reasonably connected to the service and does not cover misuse of AI output or unauthorised uploaded content.

08

Changes and contact

Material changes are versioned and may require renewed acceptance. These terms are intended to operate under applicable Zimbabwean law. Questions can be sent to hello@tjtech.co.zw.
